Café Fazenda Forquilha do Rio
Lucca Cafés Especiais offers a wide range of microlots.

Georgia Franco de Souza's journey into the world of coffee began in her childhood on her
grandfather's coffee farm. Although her first career path led her to engineering and IT, her
passion for coffee eventually took center stage. In 2000, after studying gastronomy in France,
Georgia transitioned to coffee and began working with the Ferroni group in Paraná, creating
specialty coffee blends for export.
The Beginning of Lucca Cafés Especiais
In 2002, Georgia founded Lucca Cafés Especiais, named after her husband Luiz Otávio's grandfather. The roastery began with a modest offering of five specialty coffees from Brazil’s best coffee regions. Georgia’s participation as a finalist in the Brazilian Barista Championship helped build her confidence and further cemented her passion for coffee.
A Commitment to Specialty Coffee
Georgia and her team focused on building strong relationships with coffee producers. They actively sought out high-quality beans by tasting samples, visiting farms, and participating in regional coffee competitions. Today, Lucca Cafés Especiais offers a wide range of microlots, sourcing the best coffees from across Brazil’s top growing regions.
Mission
To inspire and bring people together through the production of specialty coffees, with a strong
focus on quality, sustainability, and the preservation of Brazil’s rich coffee heritage.
